AI Assistant for Logic Pro X
Beta v0.1.5
Conductor sits quietly in the corner of your screen while you work. Ask it anything — how a plugin works, why your mix sounds off, what a setting does — and it answers with your exact session in view.
Download for Mac⚠ IMPORTANT — READ THIS INSTALLATION GUIDE
Open Conductor.dmg, drag the app into your Applications folder, then eject the disk image. Conductor is notarized by Apple — double-click to open it normally. No workarounds needed.
On first launch, Conductor walks you through this automatically. Click Grant Access and it will open System Settings directly to the right page — toggle Conductor on under Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and the app will detect it and move on by itself.
On first launch, Conductor asks for an Anthropic API key. This is how it connects to Claude — the AI that powers it. Get your free key here →
Go to console.anthropic.com, create a free account, navigate to Settings → API Keys, and click Create Key. Copy the key (it starts with sk-ant-) and paste it into Conductor. Your key is stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/Conductor/ on your machine — it is never sent anywhere except directly to Anthropic's API.
That's it. Conductor floats over your session, automatically captures what's on screen, and gives you precise answers based on exactly what you're looking at. No copy-pasting, no switching windows.
Uninstalling
Click the ⚙ icon in the top-left of the Conductor window, scroll to the bottom of Settings, and click Uninstall Conductor. Confirm when prompted — this deletes all chat history and your stored API key, then quits the app.
Open Finder → Applications, drag Conductor.app to the Trash, and empty it. That's everything removed.
